March is a useful “get organised” month. It’s the last full month before the end of the tax year (5 April), and it also brings several major UK economic updates that can affect interest rates, pricing, wages and confidence.
Below is a March 2026 calendar you can copy into your own diary. As always, check your own VAT, PAYE and CIS accounts for your business-specific deadlines, especially if you have non-standard periods.
April is year-end season for many businesses and it is the end of the personal tax year on 5 April, so March is a good time to tidy records, chase missing invoices, and make sure payroll and VAT are up to date.
